First and foremost, Heather is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, who has been trained in working with every type of relationship: married couples, co-habitating couples, polyamorous relationships, and many more, including 3 years of additional training in working with the LGBTQIA community. Heather loves working with the family system to help every member feel connected and engaged in the relationship.
Additionally, Heather is an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, who has chosen to focus most of her training on diagnosing and treating adults on the spectrum, because there are so few resources for Autistic Adults, especially those who are high-functioning or considered as having Asperger’s Syndrome.
When Heather provides therapy to people who are on the spectrum, she wants to include their entire support system, so that everyone can have a deeper understanding of how to communicate more effectively and work together.
As the practice has grown, Heather jas added some additional staff members; all of them are contractors who are also are Neurodivergent and have real hearts for serving and working with autistic adults. I am the only therapist, currently; however, our contractors do offer some other services in very limited ways and by appointment and contract only.
Unless you are a current therapy client of Heather, you must call our office to schedule an appointment for any other service with her.
