Evaluator/Assessor
I want to help the therapist at this office provide healing to individuals and families struggling with surviving in this world as a neurodivergent adult. I am joining the practice to assist in providing thorough and complete evaluations and assessments with the therapist. I support this practice’s founding principle: Nothing about us without us.
I was educated as a social worker and practiced as a licensed clinical social worker associate for about 2 years, before Heather and I made the decision for me to be the stay-at-home parent for our seven children. I graduated from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC, with a Masters of Social Work in May of 2016. I am looking forward to helping the therapist at our practice evaluate and assess the adults who need our services.
For existing DFT clients only, I am also willing to provide limited life-coaching and mentoring for other adults on the spectrum, as a fellow PDA autist with ADHD and developmental trauma; however, I am not currently practicing as a therapist, since my LCSWA has expired.
